FAQs

IS WHIPPER DISHWASHER SAFE?

No. Hand wash only. High water temperatures in dishwasher can damage plastic parts,

and accrued dishwashing detergent can cause threading of aluminum bottle to become

corroded, which affects safety of whipper.

CAN I USE LOW FAT CREAM?

No. Higher fat creams with at least 36% fat will mix better with nitrous oxide to produce

good consistency. High fat coconut milk works well for a non- dairy option.

CAN I USE MORE THAN ONE CARTRIDGE AT A TIME?

We recommend using only 1 cartridge at a time.

IS LINING INSIDE WHIPPER FOOD SAFE?

Yes. It is a food-grade coating designed to make device easier to clean,

and it has been tested to meet or exceed USA and EU standards.

HOW LONG CAN I KEEP WHIPPED CREAM IN DISPENSER?

Usually, 14 days or as long as the expiration period of the cream. Shake once or twice

before using it again.

WHY IS WHIPPED CREAM TOO SOFT AND STILL LIQUID?

1. An overfilled whipper will produce very soft whipped cream because the gas cannot circulate properly

and there is not enough space for the N2O to expand the cream. Use no more than 2 cups/500ml

of cream for a 1 pint/0.5L dispenser.

2. The whipper was not shaken enough times. After charging with gas, firmly shake 8 to 20 times.

Shaking ensures the N20 is thoroughly incorporated with the cream to 'whip' it. After 7 to 10 shakes,

check consistency by dispensing a small amount of cream. If still soft, continue shaking and

checking again after every shake.

WHY IS MY WHIPPER NOT DISPENSING WELL?

1. Over shaking can make cream too stiff and cause very little of it to be dispensed with the

rest remaining in the canister and become foamy.

2. It is important to clean all parts of headset after every use to ensure there is no blockage.

Remove gasket piston and valve from the headset and clean with brush, making sure no residue is left.

This will also remove any bad odors and keep all preparations tasting fresh.

3. Use sweeteners that will fully dissolve in the cream like powdered sugar, syrups, honey, liquid drops.

Ensure sweetener is completely dissolved before charging dispenser.

HOW DO I OPEN THE DISPENSER AFTER USE?

Press lever to release all gas and pressure before opening dispenser.
